Nalee exists to make product information clearer, not to replace your judgment or a professional. Please keep the following in mind.

Informational only

Nalee, including every Nalee Score, flag, band label (such as “Clean” or “Red Flag”), and article, is information and opinion, not medical, health, nutritional, or safety advice, and not a diagnosis or safety certification. For decisions about your health, talk to a qualified professional. If you suspect a poisoning or exposure emergency, do not use an app: call 911 or the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 (US).

How scores are made

A Nalee Score is calculated by our own engine from open public data using a transparent, published rubric. When we flag an ingredient, we are reporting that it appears on a named third-party list (for example a PubChem GHS classification, the WHO/IARC monographs, or California’s Proposition 65 list), and we link the source so you can check it yourself. A flag means “this ingredient is on that list,” not “this product will harm you.” Scores reflect the data available at the time, are our independent opinion, and are not a guarantee, endorsement, or warning about any specific product. When data is missing, we show that rather than invent it.

Supplements

Statements about dietary supplements and their ingredients have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nalee Scores for supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Research and statistics

Studies we cite report associations researchers have found; association is not proof of causation, and no study we link claims that any single product causes or prevents any disease. We cite sources so you can read them yourself. Avoiding any ingredient is your choice to make with your own professionals; Nalee makes no promise about health outcomes.

Brands, trademarks, and comparisons

Nalee is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand, retailer, certifier, or app we mention, including the companies whose products we score and the apps we compare ourselves to (Yuka, Bobby Approved, Olive, Oasis). All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the things we are talking about. Comparative statements reflect publicly available information (pricing pages, App Store listings and privacy labels, published methodologies and reviews) as of the date shown next to them. Features and prices change; if you represent a brand or app and believe something is outdated or wrong, email esdronski@gmail.com with the correction and evidence, and we will review and fix verified errors promptly.

Third-party links

We link to outside sources, studies, and product pages so you can verify and shop. We earn nothing from those links and are not responsible for third-party content. Certification badges (USDA Organic, OEKO-TEX, and others) reflect public records at the time of review and can change.

Always read the label

Ingredients and formulations change, sometimes without notice. Always read the current product label and consult the manufacturer or a professional if you have specific concerns, allergies, or conditions.
